"May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us - yes, establish the work of our hands."
(PSALM 90:17)

Ecclesiastes 9:10;
Matthew 25:14-30
At my former large church in Kansas City, I was frequently moved by the quality of the diverse musical presentations, dramas, and dance performances during the services and special events. Everything was exceptional, and I felt blissfully mystified as to why I’d prematurely taken up residence in heaven!

Then I had a chance to work with the Worship and Arts Director. I’ve never witnessed anyone more talented or humble; she was a pleasure for everyone to be around. But what struck me most were her prayers prior to any undertaking. She entreated God that the presentation would glorify Him and touch the hearts of those listening, and that those who didn’t yet know Jesus would be drawn to Him. What a truly earnest and sincere prayer.

All that she possessed was at His service, and He magnificently expanded her efforts in every open heart. He will do the same for you and me as we consistently offer Him everything. Let’s help others experience a bit of heaven now, and perhaps all of it eternally.
