"But God has combined the members of the body and has given greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division... but that its parts should have equal concern for each other."
(1 CORINTHIANS 12:24-25)

1 Corinthians 12:20-27
1 Corinthians 12 says a lot about the unity and diversity of the church, but a message just as important is the equal honor that each individual in the church shares. Whatever your role in the church and whatever your gifts, they have equal importance to Christ.

One of the greatest lies that Satan promulgates is that what you do does not matter. Every individual and what he or she does matters immeasurably to Christ. Each part played in Christ’s church is of equal importance to Him. There are NO
lowly parts!

C.S. Lewis said in The Weight of Glory, “…remember that the dullest most uninteresting person you talk to may one day be a creature which, if you saw it now, you would be strongly tempted to worship…It is in the light of these overwhelming possibilities… that we should conduct all of our dealings with one another… There are no ordinary people.”

This world elevates those of high position. But in God’s kingdom, the poor widow who gave her last cent will have a seat of honor just as high as any preacher.
