“Hear my cry for mercy as I call to you for help, as I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place.”

Psalm 28:2
Some time ago I requested prayer for my family and specifically for my nephew. His has been a long, sad journey of drugs, addictions, and life on the streets. But I want to thank you for your faithful prayers to our God who hears and answers the cries of our hearts.
I can give you the good news that God is working in my nephew’s life. He has become a Christian and has phoned his parents to tell them about it. A pastor from a church nearby has taken an interest in him, so my nephew attends his Bible church and Bible study regularly. Now my nephew is even reaching out to others in our family!
Thank you for praying for growth, love, and victory in his life. Our family has been hit hard with various tragedies over the last year. It’s been a comfort to know others are lifting us up in prayer.
“Arise, cry out in the night, as the watches of the night begin; pour out your heart like water in the presence of the LORD. Lift up your hands to him for the lives of your children, who faint from hunger at every street corner” (Lamentations 2:19).
