"And they cried out in a loud voice: 'Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.'"
(REVELATION 7:10)

Revelation 7:9-14
There is perhaps no more glorious picture of Jesus being the Friend of Sinners than the picture He gives us in the book of Revelation. The fullness of His triumph is displayed before the universe. Revelation is almost deafening with its sounds of eternal worship. All the heavenly host worship the Lord… and there we are, in the middle of it all, the redeemed from every language and nation united in Jesus (Revelation 7:9).

Jesus Christ is not just the Friend of Sinners in this life, but for all eternity. By His blood He purchased us. Even now we join in the songs of the saints and angels. We are forever united with Him. In Christ our eternal life has already started. Every day we live is given to worship the Lord in everything we do. But also, worship takes the form of loving God and loving our neighbor, as Jesus taught us.

In 2 Corinthians 5:18 Paul reminds us that since we have been reconciled to God, it is our duty to seek to reconcile others to Him, too, participating in the “ministry of reconciliation.”
