“After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting: ‘Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God.’”

Revelation 19:1
God is glorious! What a fitting way to end a month of meditations on His attributes. “May the peoples praise you, O God; may all the peoples praise you” (Psalm 67:5). This is the conclusion we come to in light of who God is.
Yet for us in everyday life, living by faith and resting in who God is can be very difficult. If we are in the midst of great heartache and sorrow, it is hard to believe that God is good, righteous, immutable, or impassible—if on the rare occasion those words even come to mind at all.
The good news for you today in the midst of agony, joy, or something in between is that God is unchangeable. He will keep displaying His character and His glory in your life. This may look primarily like the grace, unconditional love, and mercy that get you through another day. But even in the darkest of times, you will know the voice of Jesus saying to you, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9). For this and all of His attributes, to God be the glory!
