“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

2 Timothy 3:16-17
Have you ever been in a crowded room with many people talking when you are trying to watch TV? Their conversations drown out the sound, and you cannot hear. When I was a boy, I would often have fights with my brothers over this. It is so frustrating!
Think about a situation like that, but now consider how amazing it is that we can always hear God. Do you know how this is so? It’s because He speaks to us through His Word. God is not quiet. For over 1,500 years, in 66 books, by way of more than 40 different writers, He has spoken to us.
Praise God we can easily open the Bible’s pages and hear Him say to His children, “I have loved you with an everlasting love” (Jeremiah 31:3), or “You were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 6:11), or “Come to me… and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28), and so much more.
Turn up the volume! Dive into God’s Word with joy. Hear how He “has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3).
