“Day and night they never stop saying: ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.’”

Revelation 4:8b
When we worship, we give our response to someone or something we love by the things we say or do. Whatever or whoever we worship has the power to change how we live. Moses told the people of Israel, “Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength” (Deuteronomy 6:5).
Would you be able to say you have loved God with all your ability? Worshiped Him to the extent His holiness deserves? Perhaps you have given your highest priorities (even worship) to your family, to sport teams, to your possessions, or to your job. Think of how ardently you show adoration for your favorite team when you go to a game or for your favorite singer at a concert. You’re in a position of worship. Would you be that enthusiastic about worshiping God on a Sunday morning?
My brothers and sisters from the Cuban province of Pinar del Rio revealed much to me about worship. It’s not just music and singing; it’s a way of living that seeks to exalt the name of God. That’s the kind of worship I want to have!
