And they were calling to one another: ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.

Isaiah 6:3
The Lord brings Isaiah into the heavenly throne room where Isaiah is granted a vision of the Lord. Imagine how the prophet must have trembled! There the heavenly hosts witness to the pure and perfect beauty of the Lord, crying, “Holy, holy, holy.” Since the days of creation, the angels have testified to the holiness of God, and they continue to do so, for His holiness is unending. He is so absolutely far from sin that those who surround Him veil their faces. If a man but glimpse such holiness, he falls to his face in both worship and fear.
Worthy is He to be praised! The very song the angels called out became a refrain which the saints joined in (Revelation 4:8) and a hymn which believers have sung for generations. “Holy, holy, holy! Lord, God Almighty! Early in the morning our song shall rise
to Thee.” Since the Hebrew language repeats for emphasis, the angels proclaim that the Lord is the holiest of holiest of holies.
Let the first words of your prayer at the new day declare again that He is most worthy.
