"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'"
(JEREMIAH 29:11)

Jeremiah 31:1-10
When my husband and I were dating, he was the victim of a very devastating car crash. The extent of his injuries was rather severe. Aside from the physical changes that happened to his body, his personality was altered as well. I came to a point where I had to decide whether I was going to accept these changes or walk away.

I am so glad we have remained together. Our spiritual lives have blossomed as we trust God with each new day.
There are times when God asks us to take a long, hard look at our circumstances and decide what to do next. Do we stand stupefied and unable to adjust to change? Or do we embrace it and trust God to give us the strength we need to
get through?

Changes are a part of life; they always will be. Fortunately, we serve a God who is unchanging – a solid rock when life unnerves us. The prophet Jeremiah reminds us that God knows the plans He has for our lives and that those plans will prosper us. We just have to be willing to adapt to change.
