"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
(2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Psalm 119:97-104
The Bible is God’s true Word – from Genesis through Revelation. From the account of creation to Jonah in the belly of a great fish, from the global flood to the resurrection of Jesus Christ… it’s all true.

So what do we do with this amazing book? For many of us, the Bible is a textbook to be memorized and quoted. But according to the apostle Paul, God gave us His Word for more than that. He wants us to read it and see Him on each page, and to see ourselves on its pages, too. It is true that He wants us to learn how to live, to be convicted about the areas where we’re living wrongly. But most importantly, He wants the truths of Scripture to reach down to our hearts.

What is it then that He would have us truly know? Paul told us: “And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may… grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge…” (Ephesians 3:17-19). Teach this to the very youngest ones you know, and see the life- and heart-changes that follow!
