"In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never
perish, spoil or fade."
(1 PETER 1:3-4)

1 Peter 1:3-9
Did Jesus really die and rise from the grave? People have asked this question for centuries. Lee Strobel, a respected journalist and researcher, had his doubts. Did Jesus really die, or did He just faint? Was He on the cross or was it someone who looked like Him? When Strobel’s wife gave her life to Jesus, he decided to investigate the Bible’s claims, hoping to disprove them. He traveled widely, speaking to archaeologists, doctors and historians. He discovered that there is more evidence to support the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus than there is evidence for many other historical events that we accept as fact. Eventually, Strobel became a believer and wrote “The Case for Christ” which has helped lead many to a saving relationship with Jesus.

Indeed, “the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12). Others try to disprove the Bible, but God’s Word stands firm.
