"The kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish. When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore."
(MATTHEW 13:47-49)

Matthew 13:47-50
Have you ever decided someone was beyond redemption? Perhaps you’ve concluded that sharing the Gospel with a person who “didn’t deserve to hear it” would be a waste of time.

Jesus compared the kingdom of heaven to a dragnet. His disciples would have understood His analogy, since many of them were fishermen. They used dragnets to catch large numbers of fish in short periods of time. But catching fish so indiscriminately meant that unclean ones would be found together with edible ones in the nets. The fish would need to be sorted before they could be eaten or sold.

When we share the Gospel, our job is not to determine in advance which “fish” we think are worthy to be “caught,” regardless of how evil or hardened they appear to be. By the Holy Spirit’s leading, we are to share the message of salvation whenever we have the opportunity, to whoever will listen. How they choose to respond to what they hear is up to them. Our job is to share what we have, and then God will do the sorting and the judging.
