"I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband."
(REVELATION 21:2)

Revelation 21:9-14
A good principal for marriages – one that comes from the Bible – is to never go to bed angry. If you’ve ever done that anyway, you’ve probably found that you can’t sleep. When our differences are resolved and we are reconciled, there is peaceful sleep and wonderful grace to wake up to in the morning.

As believers we look forward to a new day. We know we will experience it as people reconciled to Christ because we belong to Him. He will bring us home as His Bride. It’s astounding to think that the God of the universe, whose glory will be enough to light the new heavens and earth, will bring us home to Himself. “Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away” (Revelation 21:3-4).

We have this new day to look forward to. May you grow and delight in your true
Bridegroom, Jesus.
