“Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him.”

Matthew 2:2
Now if this is not strange! Magi appear out of nowhere, following a star that rose out of nowhere. They find Jesus, give Him their lavish gifts, and return home having been warned in a dream of the dangers of King Herod. Their sole purpose in visiting Palestine was to find and worship the King of the Jews. God moved their hearts back home, revealed to them His intention, and guided them very specifically to Jesus through means they understood.
As amazing as this is, God still does this sort of thing today. We have heard similar testimonies from our now-converted friends from the East. “Jesus appeared to me in a dream”; “God brought me here so I could find Jesus”; “We used to worship idols, but now we worship the living God.” He has physically moved them through unusual means and spoken to them in terms they can understand about the One who is King.
Be in awe that today God is still calling the nations to come and worship Him, as He did for the Magi from the east. Nothing is impossible for our life-changing King.
