"And I have the same hope in God as these men, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked. So I strive always to keep my
conscience clear before God and man."
(ACTS 24:15-16)

Acts 24:10-21
We live in a narcissistic world where many people have hope in no one but themselves. Many others hope in everything and everyone except Christ. Even those of us who have a true relationship with Jesus Christ sometimes lose sight of our hope when faced with certain tragedies.

The Apostle Paul faced great persecution and difficulty after the Lord got a hold of his life. After being converted on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:1-19), Paul traveled from place to place, professing Christ. The very same Jesus whom he had been persecuting Christians for worshiping, was now his own Lord and Savior! Through the rest of his life, Paul endured hardship and suffering for Christ. But because his hope was in God, Paul’s faith never faltered.

How many times has our grip loosened on faith due to the intimidating circumstances we’ve faced? Our faith may not be as strong as we think. Although our faith may not be as strong as Paul’s, we have a “Great High Priest who can sympathize with our weaknesses”
(Hebrews 4:14-16).
