* In order to ensure proper connections in Israel with the ground tour, arrival time in Tel Aviv must be no later than 3:00 pm on Monday, March 3rd.
Departure may be anytime on Wednesday, March 12th (or on March 11th if you prefer not to utilize the free day in Jerusalem).
* For those participating in the Jordan Extension: departure must be after 1:00 am on Monday, March 17th.

Day 1: Departure from North America (Sunday - March 2)
Depart from North America. Tomorrow you will be walking where Jesus walked!
Day 2: Arrive in Israel (Monday - March 3)
Arriving at Ben Gurion airport, we are met by our Israeli guide. We will immediately travel north to Kibbutz Hagoshrim in Galilee where we will lodge for the next 4 nights in the former winter palace of an Ottoman ruler. After dinner we will have a short meet & greet session getting to know one another.
Day 3: The Galilee (Tuesday - March 4)
Following breakfast, we will head south to Capernaum and visit an ancient synagogue and Peter's home. Then we will travel to the site of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes and the Mount of the Beatitudes. Our last stop for the day will be to view the recently discovered, "Fisherman Boat" and enjoy a cruise on the Sea of Galilee.
Day 4: Northern Galilee (Wednesday - March 5)
We visit two significant sites emphasizing the loss of God's blessing on Israel: Dan and Caesarea Philippi (the site of Peter's Confession). We then travel across the Golan Heights, where our guide highlights the history of the Six Day War. Our final stop of the day as we descend the Golan will be a visit to Hazor, one of the largest biblical cities of ancient Canaan.
Day 5: Mt Arbel, Nazareth (Thursday - March 6)
We begin our day by ascending Mt. Arbel for a spectacular view of the Sea of Galilee and surrounding area. From there we will drive to Nazareth, the boyhood home of Jesus, to visit a replica village as it might have been in the 1st Century. Our day will conclude with a memorable baptism service for those who wish to be baptized in the Jordan River.
Day 6: Megiddo, Mt Carmel, Caesarea (Friday - March 7)
We depart Kibbutz Hagoshrim today for our journey to Jerusalem. On the way we will travel through the Jezreel Valley to Megiddo, the Armageddon battlefield where archaeologists have unearthed 20 levels of civilization. We then journey to Mt Carmel, where Elijah challenged King Ahab and the prophets of Baal. Lastly, as we reach the Mediterranean Sea, we visit Caesarea, touring the Roman Amphitheatre and aqueduct dating back to King Herod's time. We then continue on to the Golden City, Jerusalem, where we will stay for the next 5 nights.
Day 7: Temple Mount, Israeli Museum, American Colony (Saturday - March 8)
We commence our tour of this historic city on the Temple Mount followed by a visit to the "Upper Room" where the disciples shared the Last Supper with their Lord. Next we visit the Israeli Museum to see the Dead Sea Scrolls and a detailed model of Biblical Jerusalem. Lastly we tour the Holocaust Museum for a reminder of what the Jews have suffered as a people. We conclude our day with a wonderful dinner at the American Colony, a center for media and political personalities throughout Israel's history.
Day 8: Jesus' Steps, the Last Days, Messianic Church Service (Sunday - March 9)
We begin atop the Mount of Olives with a panoramic view of the city, Mount Moriah and the Dome of the Rock. From there we walk through the Garden of Gethsemane enjoying time to linger and pray. Next we visit the House of Caiaphas where Jesus was held for the evening before He was taken to be condemned. On our way into the city we visit the Wailing Wall and the Rabbinical Tunnels. We move on to the Judgment Hall of Pilate and are reminded of our Savior's brutal beating and humiliation. This evening we will experience an authentic Messianic worship service with our Jewish brothers and sisters in Christ as we attend Christ the King Community Church.
Day 9: Way of Suffering, Garden Tomb (Monday - March 10)
We walk the Via Dolorosa, remembering the day Jesus carried His cross. We visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher before heading to the Southern Wall Excavations, where Jesus entered the Temple Mount and drove out the money changers. The highlight of the day will be the Garden Tomb, where many scholars believe our Lord was buried and resurrected. As we face the empty tomb, we celebrate the resurrection with communion and a time of praise. Our day ends with dinner at the luxurious King David Hotel and a lecture from a local news correspondent.
Day 10: Free Day in Jerusalem (Tuesday - March 11)
Today is free to shop, explore the Old City, visit a site unseen, or simply rest and pack for the trip home. An optional guided tour to Bethlehem and the Herodian will be available for those who are so inclined at an extra cost of $50 per person.
Optional Dead Sea/Jordan Extension:
March 12 - 17, 2014
Day 11: Masada, Ein Gedi, Qumran, Dead Sea (Wednesday - March 12)
On our way to Jordan, we will explore the mountaintop fortress of Masada, the oasis of Ein Gedi, and Qumran where the Dead Sea scrolls were first discovered. We will overnight at the Dead Sea with the evening free to experience floating in the water or enjoying a special spa treatment.
Day 12: Israel to Jordan (Thursday - March 13)
Today we travel south along the Israel-Jordan border to the city of Eilat on the shores of the Red Sea. Here we will cross the border into Jordan and head back north along the King's Highway to Petra and our overnight accommodation in an old Bedouin Village that has been converted to a modern hotel.
Day 13: Petra (Friday - March 14)
Today is a highlight of our tour when we spend the entire day exploring one of the Severn Modern Wonders of the world. The city of Petra is a spectacular display of antiquity with its red rock architecture. Known to be inhabited by the descendants of Esau and dating back some 2300 years, it is accessed through an immense crack in the Nabatean sandstone called the "Siq". Have your cameras ready for this day of touring!
Day 14: Mt Nebo, Bethany beyond the Jordan (Saturday - March 15)
Departing Petra, we travel northward towards Amman. On our way we will see Mt. Nebo where Moses viewed the Promised Land, and Bethany beyond the Jordan where Jesus was baptized by John. We will have dinner and overnight in our hotel in Amman, the capital city of Jordan.
Day 15: Amman, Jerash (Sunday - March 16)
This morning we will have the incredible experience of worshipping with Jordanian believers in a local church setting. This is a vivid reminder that Christ's church is worldwide and intercultural. In the afternoon we will explore Jerash, one of the biblical cities in the Decapolis and the second most popular tourist attraction in Jordan. We return to Amman for a final dinner together with the evening free to prepare for our flights back to North America.
Day 16: Return Home (Monday - March 17)
Today we catch our flights home. Most flights out of Amman to North America route through Europe and consequently leave very early to make proper connections. Be prepared for a departure time as early as 2:00 am with transfer to the airport leaving from our hotel shortly after midnight.
