Raised as a pastor's son, Amick Byram learned early that he had a gift for music. That gift has taken him many places, including a time when he was part of the Haven Quartet. His credits are impressive, including a starring role on Broadway in the musical "Phantom of the Opera". He was also tapped for a lead role in the national touring company of the musical "Les Miserables". One song of interest in the CD "Encounter"s is the title song from the award-winning Dreamworks movie "The Prince of Egypt" where Amick sang all the parts for Moses. Every song in the album "Encounter" is a powerful reminder that there is much for all of us to learn from biblical characters and how the Old Testament characters especially keep pointing us to a coming Messiah.
