About the Authors:

Ted Cooper is a former agnostic who had spent 20 years working the the computer industry. To allow their children to make up their own mind about whether to believe in God, the entire family started attending church. While listening to the Word preached at church, Ted decided to put God to a test. He found a large-print NIV hardback and divided the Bible into 12 pages a day, which meant he could read the entire scriptures in less than 90 days. He prayed and asked God (if there was God) to reveal himself. By the time he reached the major prophets, he knew in his mind and heart that God existed. "The rest was easy," Ted says. "If God was real and His Word was true, I could believe I needed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior." Shortly after becoming a Christian and leading others to read the Bible in 90 Days and the resulting revival in his own church in Houston, Ted left the business world and founded the ministry, The Bible in 90 Days.

John H. Walton (PhD, Hebrew Union College) teaches Old Testament at Wheaton College Graduate School. He is the author or coauthor of several books, including Chronological and Background Charts of the Old Testament; God’s Purpose, God’s Plan; The IVP Bible Background Commentary.

Mark Strauss (PhD, Aberdeen) is professor of New Testament at Bethel Seminary in San Diego. He has written The Davidic Messiah in Luke-Acts, Distorting Scripture?, The Challenge of Bible Translation and Gender Accuracy, and Luke in the Zondervan Illustrated Bible Background Commentary series.
