Growing up as a peasant girl in the Chinese Village of Henan, Xiao Min was constantly sick and forced to drop out of junior high. She had no training in reading music. Nevertheless, after meeting Christ Jesus as her Lord and Savior, the notes and the words came to her and over 1,000 songs later, we have what are called the Canaan Hymns. Her music spread quickly and is now sung by all Christians in China and in Chinese churches around the world. Xiao Min's songs contain pure gospel and express faith, testimony and experiences of the faithful.
